The Tribal Print Pencil Skirt

So, I am definitely obsessed with prints. You will most likely see a lot of my outfits with dramatic print pieces. I love loud colors and prints on my pants, leggings, jeans, and tops. This is one of my favorite skirts in my little collection. It is a tribal print skirt I got a while ago at Ann Taylor Loft.
Two reasons why I love this skirt 1) The print is not cliche in its patterns or colors 2) It is a pencil skirt
I am a huge fan of the pencil skirt because it is flattering to EVERY body type. Every woman of every shape can pull of a pencil skirt. All that matters is what shoes and top you pair it with. Obviously pencil skirts always look good with a cami/basic tee tucked into it, but I also like pairing it with loose blouses like I did in this outfit. Just make sure whatever top you pair it with doesn't bunch up under the body hugging skirt for people to see.
So anyway, back to the prints. A lot of people feel as though when they wear a printed piece they MUST match the rest of their outfit to the colors in that print and this is FALSE! I love getting creative with my prints. As you see in this outfit, my skirt does not have an ounce of green in it yet I have matched it with a lace army green top and a pair of army green gladiator heels.
Get creative with your prints! Just be careful not to look stupid by doing too much. Less is sometimes more but this doesn't stop you from being creative.

P.S. I apologize for all the stuff in the background of my pics. ooopss
